Coupé Fiat - 1998

In this year the "Limited Edition” appeared – a special model which stood out from the ordinary 20VT with its titanium look alike add-on components (wheels, mirrors, fuel cap, grill, light shrouds, cockpit panel), starter button and its red inner accessoirs.

In addition the "LE” offered perforated brake discs, Sparco alloy pedals and Recaro sport seats as standard equipment.
Black, red and 3 shades of grey (Grigio Vinci, Grigio Steel, Grigio Crono) were the body colour options.
The precise number of units does not seem to be known even at Fiat and Pininfarina. It is likely that barely 1600 units were produced.

Edition # 001 is said to have been in temporary possession of Michael Schumacher. This is conceivable because Fiat Automobil AG is registered as the first owner in the regristration document and Schumacher was advertising medium of the brand (think of the Seicento advertising spots with M.S. seen playing the leading role)

The series produced in the following from # 002 on consists of right hand driver models intended for the british market. Only after that was production of left hand driver models resumed.
