FIAT 1900 Coupé "Gran Luce" -
1952
The 1900 saloon car provided a base for the Gran Luce (domestic market) resp. Gran Vue (Export) named Coupé. The American influences, which were very trendy with the european manufacturers in the fifties, are obvious. Panorama screens and filigree A- and C-pillars as well as missing B-pillars guaranteed perfect visibility. Wanton chrome embellishment ensured essential prestige. White sidewall tyres and two colour paint work of the pontoon car body completed the visual impact. |
